LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY FRAME
Extra weight is the enemy of any bike. This is especially true for youth bikes, when the riders themselves are relatively light-weight. It’s tough to beat the cost-to-weight ratio of aluminum, which is why Laser 20 features a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame. This keeps the overall weight down, making the bike much more fun and easy to ride.
YOUTH-SPECIFIC BRAKE LEVER
Being able to slow down is critical for rider safety, and Laser 20 features both a coaster brake and hand brake. The hand brake lever features a short reach and easy pull, requiring minimal effort for those with small hands.
FULL-COVERAGE CHAIN GUARD
A full-coverage chain guard makes sure things that shouldn’t get caught between the chain and the chainring, don’t. Like pants and small fingers.
KICKSTAND INCLUDED
Good habits of bike care can be learned at a young age, especially with a first bike. Laser 20 includes a kickstand to help kids become mindful of how their bike is left when it’s not in use.
BELL INCLUDED
The basics of bike safety can be, and should be learned at a young age, which is why Laser 20 includes a handlebar-mounted bell.
36-SPOKE WHEELS
We know these bikes get put through the wringer, which is why Laser 20 features sturdy, 36-spoke wheels built with 14G spokes.
