"content": "These clinics focus on desert skills which includes riding up and down rocks. These clinics cover some cornering, but aren’t cornering focused since there are very few “corners” in St. George. We highly recommend elbow and knee pads for desert riding. Email suport@womeninthemountains.com with any questions. \nThe desert fundamentals clinics: cover bike and body separation, especially developing the fore and aft movement . These movements are what we will use in the afternoon trail ride to roll up and down smaller rocks and features. \nThe desert intermediate clinics: start with bike and body separation, then develop pressure control: front wheel lift, rear wheel lift review, then on to front wheel drop, manual, wheelie. These skills will then be applied during the afternoon trail ride, riding up and down larger rocks and riding off rock drops. \nThis is an Ambassador Event. No bike demos will be offered at this event.",
