HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
With the higher speeds and greater weight of e-bikes, having adequate brakes is extremely important. Hudson E1’s powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes make sure the braking power is there when you need it.
INTEGRATED REAR LIGHT
Being seen is extremely important when sharing the roadway with other riders and vehicles. Hudson E1 features a powered rear-facing light integrated into the seatpost, helping to make sure you’re seen by traffic approaching from the rear.
MICROSHIFT ACOLYTE DRIVETRAIN
Designed for simplicity, durability, and a wide-gear range, Microshift’s Acolyte 1×8 drivetrain is the perfect match for Hudson E1. The shifter features textured paddles providing comfortable and smooth gear selection.
HYENA HUB-DRIVE MOTOR
Hyena’s 250W hub-drive pedal-assist motor produces 40Nm of torque, enough to help push you along the path or up those hills. 3 levels of assist are available via the easy-to-use HMI conveniently located on the handlebar.
STEP RIGHT IN
Hudson E1 step-thru models are offered in two sizes with a super low-slung top-tube, making mounting and dismounting a piece of cake.
BEST IN CLASS COMFORT
Our super plush saddle features Memory Foam padding for optimum support with maximum comfort. The slip-resistant suede-like top prevents sliding and the burnished side panels reduce leg friction while pedaling. Elastomer springs also help to soak up road vibrations.
BATTERY IN DISGUISE
Hudson E1’s 250Wh battery is neatly (and covertly) nestled inside the downtube, with a conveniently-located charging port above the bottom-bracket.
SP CONNECT MOUNT
Hudson E1 features an SP Connect mount integrated into the stem, making it super easy to use your device as a display with the available Hyena app.

Equipped with a 250W Hyena hub-drive motor, Hudson E1 is designed to provide a natural pedal-assisted riding experience for everyday commutes or recreational rides. Using a torque sensor integrated into the bottom-bracket, Hudson E1 is able to deliver power smoothly and efficiently whenever you push the pedals. With all the comfort of our traditional Hudson with a modest helping of electric boost, riding has never been easier.
