LIGHTWEIGHT ALLOY FRAME
Extra weight is the enemy of any bike. This is especially true for youth bikes, when the riders themselves are relatively light-weight. It’s tough to beat the cost-to-weight ratio of aluminum, which is why Capri 24 features a lightweight 6061 aluminum frame. This keeps the overall weight down, making the bike much more fun and easy to ride. Capri 24 also features a low standover height, which makes getting on and off the bike nice and easy.
SINGLE CHAINRING DRIVETRAIN
Capri 24 keeps it simple with a single-chainring drivetrain. A 40t chainring combined with a 14-28t freewheel provide enough gearing to go anywhere without the need for an extra shifter, cabling and derailleur.
YOUTH-SPECIFIC BRAKE LEVERS
Being able to slow down is critical for rider safety, which is why we spec Capri 24 with youth-specific brake levers. The levers feature a short reach and easy pull, requiring minimal effort for those with small hands.
ELECTROPLATED BLACK PARTS
A well-loved bike is a well-used bike, and a well-used bike is bound to show scratches and dings. Many parts on Capri 24 feature an electroplated black finish, which helps conceal minor damage.
36-SPOKE WHEELS
We know these bikes get put through the wringer, which is why Capri 2.4 features sturdy, 36-spoke wheels built with 14G spokes. The rims and hubs are aluminum, keeping weight down.
SEALED CARTRIDGE BOTTOM BRACKET
Our kids bikes are designed to stand the test of time, which is why we spec most with sealed cartridge bottom brackets. This design will help keep the pedals turning smoothly for years.
Comfort and style
When it comes to bikes, kids just aren’t interested unless they’re comfortable and stylish. Capri 2.4 features a riser stem and comfort handlebars, comfort saddle, and a color-matched chain guard.
