Growing up in Santa Cruz, Josie was surrounded by amazing trails through redwood trees with views of the Pacific. But it wasn’t until the pandemic that she was able to spend enough time riding those trails seriously with her dad to discover the true joys of mountain biking. Joining local teams she progressed quickly, and began competing in both cross-country and enduro events throughout northern California.
