Jamis Bicycles Signs Mike Steidley For The 2007 Cycling Season

Northvale, NJ - (February 16th, 2007) - Jamis Bicycles announces today the addition of 4 time National Trials Champion and mountain bike freerider Mike Steidley to its list of sponsored elite riders. Steidley’s stunt shows have been seen by thousands of spectators across the US and he will be hitting the road again this year for a full season of riding, filming and performing while representing Jamis Bicycles.

Steidley spent the past 3 years on the Trek-VW Factory Team and has been competing professionally since 1999. “I’m really excited to be working with Jamis this year and feel the relationship will offer tremendous upward mobility for both the Jamis brand and my career” said Steidley. Steidley also has plans for a spring promotional tour that will include stunt demonstrations at major events across the US. Spectators and fans can catch the action, grab one of the many give-away items, pick up an autograph and ask a questions about cycling and Jamis Bikes.

Steidley will also be working closely with Jamis reps and local dealers to provide bikes that consumers can check out as well as test ride at select venues. “We are extremely excited to be working with Mike, he is going to make a great addition to the Jamis Team. His past experience with demo’s and stunt shows as well as his multiple titles make him an asset to Jamis Bicycles and the continued growth of our program. We are looking forward having Mike head up our demo program and introduce the brand to all the people that follow his stunt shows and video parts.” said Craig Hoyt, Product Manager of Jamis Bicycles.
