Jamis Bicycles announces limited edition xenith SL Frame kit.

Northvale, NJ - January 17th - Hot on the heels of the arrival of the new Xenith Series carbon road bikes, Jamis is once again pushing the weight/performance envelope with a limited edition Xenith SL frameset. Utilizing the Xenith Team production process and materials, the Xenith SL is weight optimized shaving 50-70 grams off the already featherweight Xenith Team. This brings the Xenith SL's frame weight close to the 900g mark.

The Xenith SL utilizes the same unique design and production features as the Xenith Team. Three distinct platforms of Tri-Ovalized tubing in different diameters for different size bikes and riders achieves optimal stiffness and rider comfort. forged one piece dropouts, TRIAD lay-up (utilizes three different fiber types for specific areas of the frame to further tune the ride), Jamis Xenith fork with it’s unparalleled lateral stiffness and handling, secure two-bolt seat clamp and the closely controlled production technique that insures every frame produced is exactly produced as per the standard that Jamis set with it’s extensive ride testing and tuning.

Available only as a frame kit, Xenith SL will be available in February with a retail of $2500.00.
