Jamis Bicycles Sponsors the Battenkill-Roubaix

January 11, 2006 - Jamis Bicycles is proud to
announce their sponsorship of the 2007 Battenkill-Roubaix. Held
on April 14, 2007, Battenkill-Roubaix has proven itself to be one
of the most challenging races on the US calendar and shows the
true flavor of the famous Paris-Roubaix or Hell on Earth (the biggest
one day classic on the year long ProTour).
In two short years, Battenkill-Roubaix
has become the premier east coast race event. 2007 attendance
expectations have risen to over 1000 competitors in 11 different
classes. The highlight of the day will be the Jamis Pro/1/2/3
Women’s and Pro/1/2
Men’s races. "This is a unique and exciting race," says
Steven Fairchild, Jamis' road bike manager, "and with the
introduction of our 2007 Xenith Series carbon race bikes we're
setting a new industry standard for cutting edge design, low weight
and explosive performance. We believe this is a perfect venue to
showcase our exciting new line of road bikes." Competitors
from all over the country will be on hand to take part in this
epic day of racing.
Jamis will be showcasing the new Xenith Series and other top performing
2007 road bike models at the start/finish area while making bikes
available for test rides throughout the day.
