Northvale, NJ - January 11, 2006 - Jamis Bicycles is proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2007 Battenkill-Roubaix. Held on April 14, 2007, Battenkill-Roubaix has proven itself to be one of the most challenging races on the US calendar and shows the true flavor of the famous Paris-Roubaix or Hell on Earth (the biggest one day classic on the year long ProTour).

In two short years, Battenkill-Roubaix has become the premier east coast race event. 2007 attendance expectations have risen to over 1000 competitors in 11 different classes. The highlight of the day will be the Jamis Pro/1/2/3 Women’s and Pro/1/2 Men’s races. "This is a unique and exciting race," says Steven Fairchild, Jamis' road bike manager, "and with the introduction of our 2007 Xenith Series carbon race bikes we're setting a new industry standard for cutting edge design, low weight and explosive performance. We believe this is a perfect venue to showcase our exciting new line of road bikes." Competitors from all over the country will be on hand to take part in this epic day of racing.

Jamis will be showcasing the new Xenith Series and other top performing 2007 road bike models at the start/finish area while making bikes available for test rides throughout the day.
