Top cyclocross pro Jesse Anthony helped us to perfectly position and angle the portage flat under the top tube. His input resulted in a fully hydro-formed top tube that makes portaging as comfortable as portaging could possibly get.

Adding a cable stop for the rear cantilever brake is often a design challenge. On smaller frames there is not enough room for a welded-on stop and adding a stop that bolts on to the seat clamp is usually a messy affair. Check out our solution: we’ve integrated the seat clamp and the cable stop (with adjustor!) into one light, clean CNC’d alloy unit.

Supernova features super-lite and strong Kinesium tubing, a space age alloy that is 30% stronger than conventional 6061 or 7005. Nova Pro and Nova Race offer lightwieght double-butted 7005 aluminum. Supernova and Nova Pro also feature carbon seat stays to increase lateral stiffness and optimize shock damping.

Cyclocross racing is usually muddy, which wrecks havoc with front and rear shifting. We’ve moved both derailleur cables to the top tube to keep them clear of the mud, insuring they work in the worst of conditions. Because the front derailleur must be cable-pulled from underneath, we’ve added a cable roller to the bottom of the seat tube to re-direct the front derailleur cable properly.
